
2025 Khaledi Prize
Khaladi PrizeMaxim is honored to have been named as the recipient of the 2025 Darioush and Shahpar Khaledi Prize for Excellence and Innovation in Classical Music from Festival Napa Valley. The annual prize recognizes a rising star who has exemplified outstanding attributes as a performer and innovator.

USA Tour with Czech National Symphony Orchestra
Maxim made his debut with Czech National Symphony Orchestra last year at Smetana Hall in Prague, performing the live-premiere of American composer David Chesky’s brilliant Concerto No. 3. He now embarks on a 9-city USA Tour together again with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, this time performing the Dvorak Piano Concerto.

International German Piano Award
Maxim was honored to receive both the Schott Music Audience and the Arnold Freymuth Special Prize at the 2024 International German Piano Award held at Casals Forum at Kronberg Academy in Germany. Following the Grand Prix Concert, Bechstein News described Maxim as “one of the most powerful pianists I have ever experienced.”

World Premiere tour of Lowell Liebermann’s Frankenstein!
It is an absolute honor to premiere Lowell Liebermann’s Three Dances from FRANKENSTEIN this season – a major new virtuoso piano work commissioned through funds from The Gilmore – and based on Liebermann’s ballet Frankenstein. The World Premiere took place at the Gower Festival in Wales and was selected by BBC Music Magazine as one of the month’s best concert highlights in the UK. The NYC premiere takes place October 10 and 11, 2023 at Death of Classical’s The Crypt Sessions!
